Five years ago, during our round-the-world trip, we bought our first special salt at a small market and took it with us across the next national border. It was more than just a souvenir – it was the beginning of a passion.

A few days later, we cooked together in a hostel with travelers from all over the world. When we put our salt on the table and told its story, it quickly became clear: salt connects people, cultures and memories.
